Spellbreaker is the shield of Peryite, the Daedric Prince of pestilence. Raise it to block and it throws up a magical ward in front of you – stopping spells, and even the shouts of draugr Deathlords and dragons.
How to get it
Complete “The Only Cure”. Peryite sends you after a group of afflicted followers who have fled to a Dwemer ruin.
What it does
- While blocking, creates a ward that absorbs up to 50 points of spell damage, renewed every second.
- Also blocks shouts – very handy against Disarm and Unrelenting Force.
- It does not protect against the steam attacks of Dwarven automatons.
Improve it with a Dwarven Metal Ingot (Arcane Blacksmith perk needed).
