The Longhammer is Rahd’s Orcish warhammer – lighter than it should be, faster than it looks, and quietly one of the best two-handed weapons for enchanters.
How to get it
At the end of Liar’s Retreat, near the body of its owner, Rahd. If you don’t clear the dungeon, it can respawn – sometimes leaving you with extra copies.
Effect
“Rahd’s hammer, the reduced weight allows it to be swung more quickly.” In practice it swings about 30% faster than a regular warhammer, enough to beat a Daedric warhammer on damage per second.
Because the speed is an innate effect, not an enchantment:
- Elemental Fury makes it faster still.
- You can add your own enchantment – with Extra Effect, two – on top.
