Bloodthorn is a unique steel dagger that soul traps anything it kills – a handy little tool for enchanters, found at a hagraven’s altar.
How to get it
It lies on an altar on the balcony of Hag’s End in the Reach. At higher levels the hagraven there likes to throw fireballs and ice storms, which can blast the dagger off the altar – check the floor if it’s missing.
Enchantment
- If the target dies within 3 seconds, its soul fills a soul gem.
- It also carries a hidden Absorb Health effect that isn’t shown in the description.
The soul trap even works on Dwarven automatons, which normally resist it. It can’t be disenchanted.
