The Ebony Mail is Boethiah’s artifact – and the dream armor of any heavily armored sneak. It’s a heavy cuirass that somehow makes you quieter, wraps you in shadow while you sneak, and poisons any enemy who gets too close.
How to get it
Complete “Boethiah’s Calling”. The Daedric Prince of deceit demands a sacrifice to begin with, and things only get darker from there – fitting for a prince who loves betrayal.
Why it’s so good
- Muffle – it’s the only armor other than boots with the muffle effect, so even heavy armor wearers can sneak quietly.
- Poison cloak – nearby enemies take 5 poison damage per second.
- A black shadowy effect while you sneak.
- Armor rating 45 – very solid for a cuirass.
How to get it
Reward for the Daedric quest "Boethiah's Calling".
