Frost Breath is Fire Breath’s chilly twin: the same raw damage, but frost instead of flame – which also slows your enemies down. That makes it a great tool for escaping a fight as well as winning one.
Where to learn it
Word Walls at Bonestrewn Crest, Skyborn Altar and Folgunthur. Folgunthur is visited during the quest “Forbidden Legend”.
Tips
- Perfect against fire-breathing dragons and Flame Atronachs.
- Useless against Ice Wraiths and Frost Giants, which are immune to frost.
- The slow effect buys you time to back off or reposition.
Effect per word
Frost damage over 5 seconds in a cone in front of you, plus a slow effect. More words mean more damage.
