Erik is a young Nord farmer in the village of Rorikstead, son of Mralki who runs the Frostfruit Inn. He works the fields, but what he really wants is a life of adventure – and he is very happy to tell you all about it.
How to recruit Erik
Talk to Erik about his dream, then talk to his father. With a little persuasion, intimidation or some generosity, Mralki agrees to let his son go and buys him proper armor. From then on, he is known as Erik the Slayer, and you can hire him for the standard 500 gold.
As a follower
Erik becomes a barbarian-style fighter with Two-Handed, Light Armor, Archery and Block. Once he is “the Slayer”, he levels with you up to level 40. He is a very chatty companion who comments on places you visit and enemies you defeat – his enthusiasm is part of the charm.
