Chapter seven is the finale of A Dance in Fire. At a banquet in the palace of the Silvenar in 3E 397, Scotti and Liodes Jurus enjoy the jealous glares of every rival who failed to land the rebuilding contracts. Jurus admits he never expected the shy clerk to succeed. The evening has one last surprise, and Scotti’s journey ends rather better than it began – with some very clever Bosmer cooking involved.
